The position of the footrest of the recliner-type sofa's outer seats can be changed by a manual mechanism. When the footrest is raised, the backrest moves smoothly along. To raise the footrest, pull up the lever on the right outside of the chair. When the footrest is pressed down, it automatically locks into the initial position. The middle seat is not adjustable.
