3M™ Sheet and Screen Dot Matrix Label Materials 7983 is our 82 micron matte silver polyester surface with a 20 micron acrylic adhesive 300 and a 147 g/m² polyethylene coated kraft paper backing. It has a 90 lb. flat surface backing. When you need a label material that can be hand written on and is suitable for dot matrix printing, use 3M™ Sheet and Screen Dot Matrix Label Material 7983. It has a 90 lb. flat surface backing. Our screen-printable 7983 is suitable for a wide range of applications that require a fast tack adhesive and high peel strength. The matte topcoat is resistant to abrasion, chemicals, moisture and wide temperature fluctuations. The high tack, fast tack adhesive bonds well to low surface energy substrates, especially LSE plastics.
