The history of the brand, which exclusively produces natural quality drinks fermented naturally, has a dignified history: the company´s founder, Thomas Fentimans, was a steel bottler from Cleckheaton, England, who was approached by a local merchant in 1905 with a request for a loan. A contract was signed and the guarantee was a recipe for ginger beer fermented from plants. The merchant did not repay the loan, and so Thomas became the owner of a unique recipe. The drink made according to it quickly became popular, the family business expanded and several industries were opened.
